The Training is for all, not limited to the Benue youths. Anybody who wish to be empowered can be part of the training, but our aim is to create employment for the Benue youths by training and empowering them to make good money from the movie industry.
Benue is not entirely new to movie making, but it’s talents and resources has not been fully tapped. We intend to make ready enough talent for our investors, who will come to Benue to produce movies.
It’s a massive project we have here. The training which is expected to last one month with a short film production by the trainees has no sponsorship yet and that’s why we are calling on companies and individuals to join us in supporting this project and also promote their brands.
Trainees shall be split into 5 groups for a short film project which will be screened for awards. Trainees shall also be awarded in individual category of training. Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Cinematographer, Best Editor, Best Screen writer, Best in continuity, Best Makeup, Best Director, Best Gaffer, Best Sound. These awards shall be given at the awards/gala night.
